Every donation makes a real difference by helping to fund life-saving missions and critical care across the North West. With no government or NHS funding, this incredible service relies on the generosity of supporters like you.

Here’s what The North West Air Ambulance Charity shared with us…

“Thank you so much for your kind support of the North West Air Ambulance Charity over the last financial year. Through generous in memory donations, you have helped raise £5,666.81, and we are deeply grateful for your compassion and thoughtfulness.

Your support makes a real difference, to put into context the impact of these donations:

  • £329 could fund blood for one day as part of our Blood on Board service.
  • £380 could fund one primary bag used by our critical care paramedics or consultant doctors.
  • £735 could cover the cost of one blood-giving set.
  • £2,100 could fund one helmet, an essential piece of protective equipment with a ten-year lifespan.
  • £4,200 could equip a full clinical crew with the protective uniform and medical kit they need to provide critical care.
  • The average cost of one mission is £ 4,500.

In 2025, our crew attended more than 3,862 incidents, bringing enhanced pre-hospital care directly to patients across the region.

As a charity, we receive no government or NHS funding. We must raise over £18 million each year to remain operational, and it is the generosity of people like you that enables us to continue providing critical care to patients who need it most.
