The Alty Funeral Service pride ourselves on being a helping hand to local families. For over a century, we’ve had a history of supporting the people of Blackburn and the surrounding areas. We continue to provide this care in many different ways. Whilst looking after families during the difficult time of bereavement, we also give back to our community and the people who live in it, by providing support through donating to charities and sponsoring local sports clubs. Below is just a few ways we offer our help…
Blackburn Rugby Union Club, 2019-2020
Founded in 1877 in what they call a “soccer mad area,” the club has thrived in recent seasons. During the 2019-2020, The Alty Funeral Service sponsored Blackburn Rugby Union Club. Unfortunately this season had to be cut short due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The team still triumphed in sixth place for the Northern Premier. Next season, they will be facing local rivals Preston in the 2020-2021 season. Keep an eye out for updates on the next games.

Blackburn Rovers F.C., for around 20 years
The Alty Funeral Service have been loyally sponsoring Blackburn Rovers F.C. for over 20 years. Last year, we went on to be the very first back of shorts sponsor for the Blackburn Rovers Ladies Team. Additionally, during the 2019-2020 season, we went on to sponsor Darragh Lenihan, defender of Blackburn Rovers F.C.
