Welcoming the New Broomfield House
Wm. Alty & Sons Funeral Services are pleased to announce that our original firm, Broomfield House of Blackburn, is currently going through an interior renovation.
The former home was built in 1874 and has seen a lot of renovations since The Alty Funeral Service was founded in 1915.
Let us introduce to you to a few changes that have already taken place in our historic home. The first change was on our new entrance doors fitted in September 2019, welcoming our customers into the family firm.
During November 2019, we replaced our traditional fireplace with a log burner by North West Fire and Stone Installations, another local family business. We received excellent service from David and his team, who worked tirelessly to complete the task within less than a day, allowing our Chapel of Rest to remain open.
Our final project for now is our new floors fitted by Simply Floors, adding a fresher feel to our traditional home with new flooring in our reception and tartan carpet.
We have thoroughly enjoyed renovating our beautiful home and connecting with other local business during the process. Our aim is to always provide our customers with a high standard of service in every aspect. With over 100 years of experience within Broomfield House, we have seen a lot of upgrades, but none like the scale we are experiencing at the moment.
